HUS is the Scandinavian word for home — and for us, it's more than a name. It's the whole point.

HUS & CO. is a family-run homeware brand based in the Lake District, founded on the idea that the things you surround yourself with should mean something. We believe a home isn't just decorated — it's considered. Every piece we carry has been chosen with care, for the way it feels in your hands, the warmth it brings to a room, and whether it's still something you'll love in five years' time.

We're not interested in filling rooms. We're interested in finishing them. Our collections are deliberately small — edited around quality, texture, and the kind of understated design that doesn't shout but always gets noticed. We work with makers and suppliers we trust, sourcing pieces that feel collected rather than bought, and that sit as comfortably in a lakeside cottage as they do in a city townhouse.

Quality matters to us because it should only need to matter once. We'd rather you bought one beautiful thing from us than ten that don't last. That's the standard we hold ourselves to — if it wouldn't go in our own home, it doesn't go in yours.

Based in the heart of the Lake District, surrounded by fell views and a miniature dachshund called Desmond, we run HUS & CO. the way we think a homeware brand should be run — personally, carefully, and with genuine love for what we do.
